In a video shared on Instagram, Ektaa Kapoor revealed her plans for the new season, promising to create the most powerful Naagin yet.

The wait is finally over for fans of the Naagin franchise. Producer Ektaa Kapoor has officially announced the much-anticipated Naagin 7, thrilling fans who have been eagerly awaiting the next season of the popular supernatural series. After an 18-month hiatus since Naagin 6 went off the air, Ektaa confirmed that the next exciting chapter is in the works, sparking a wave of anticipation. In a recent video shared on her Instagram, she shared her vision for the new season, promising to create the most powerful Naagin yet.
The video opens with the producer brainstorming ideas with her creative team in the office. The clip then pans to a team member’s face, as Ektaa is heard saying, “Whoever wants to know where Naagin is, that’s the girl.”
To this, her team member quipped, “Naagin is on chotiyaan ke peeche, parvat ke niche.” Ektaa Kapoor then added, “Time to create sarva sarva, very very shresth, super shresth Naagin.”
While finalising the theme and slogan for the new season, the filmmaker continued, “Sarva, super shresth, param shresth, aadi, super aadi Naagin,” adding, “I am trying to create this one because I have already done every kind of super shresth, aadi pati, all kinds of Naagins. Now, we need to create something sarva sarva shresth.”
Soon after the announcement, fans couldn’t contain their excitement and flocked to the comments section to express their enthusiasm for the upcoming series. Many social media users suggested that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Chahat Pandey would be perfect for the lead role, while others simply shared their excitement for Naagin 7.
Actress Divyaa Agarwal wrote, “Can’t wait.”
“You will rock it, babes, with your Naagin,” wrote one fan. Another pleaded, “We want to see Mouni Roy again, please Ektaa.” A few echoed, “Please cast Chahat Pandey in Naagin 7,” while others insisted, “Only Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.” One enthusiastic fan exclaimed, “Mouni has been and will always be the best Naagin of all time!”
Since buzz around Naagin 7 began, speculation has been rife that Bigg Boss 16 contestant Priyanka Chahar Choudhary would play the lead role. However, the Udaariyaan star addressed the rumours in an interview with Bollywood Life.
Priyanka clarified, “No, I am not doing Naagin. These rumours have been circulating since I came out of Bigg Boss 16. So, I want to clarify that I am not doing Naagin. Right now, I just have Dus June Ki Raat, and you’ll see me in some other projects as well.”
