Following the conclusion of the event at the games, which Kerala won by beating the hosts in the final, the AIFF thanked the CM of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The Kerala Football team were crowned the winners of the event in the 38th edition of the National Games on Friday as they got the better of hosts Uttarakhand in the final with a 1-0 win thanks to a lone strike from S Gokul, which proved enough to clinch the title and put an end to Kerala’s near three-decade drought.
Following the conclusion of the tournament the AIFF thanked the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, for hosting the tournament.

“We recognise the huge potential for the growth of football in Uttarakhand,” the statement continued.
“We congratulate Kerala, Uttarakhand, and Delhi for finishing in the top 3 in Men’s Football, and Haryana, Odisha, and West Bengal in Women’s Football,” the apex body for football in India added congratulating thebest performing sides in the tournament.
Delhi beat Assam in the game between the losing semifinalists to finish third in the latest edition of the Natioal Games.
The women’s football team from Haryana reigned supreme in their category with a 4-2 win over Odisha on penalties in the final, after the game ended scoreless at the end of regulation time. The West Bengal women’s team finished third with a 3-1 win in the penalty shootout against Delhi in a game that ended 2-2 aet.
