The promo of Celebrity MasterChef sees Abhijeet Sawant trying to master cooking egg lababdar. The result was not as expected.

Celebrity MasterChef is set to delight all foodies and it’s only the first day. The reality show will see contestants like Archana Gautam, Abhijeet Sawant, Tejasswi Prakash, and Gaurav Khanna competing to impress their fans with their culinary creations. While we are sure that viewers are delighted, the promos show that the journey may not be so easy for the contestants. Indian Idol 1 winner Abhijeet Sawant’s cooking struggles were visible in a promo shared by Sony TV.
The clip shows director Farah Khan, who is one of the judges, chatting with Abhijeet Sawant as he makes egg lababdar. The singer showed off his musical talent, crooning his hit track Mohabbatein Lutaaunga as he prepared his dish. The singer gave the song a twist as he promised to cook food as well as sing. Farah Khan urged him to ensure that his cooking was as good as his singing. However, it seems his efforts might not have been up to the mark, with chef Vikas Khanna advising him on how to plate a dish.
Later on, the promo shows Abhijeet talking about the pressures he faced while plating the dish, confessing that it was very difficult for him.

Celebrity MasterChef’s promos have created quite a buzz. Earlier, one of the show’s adverts showed Tejasswi Prakash talking about her motive for joining the show. Tejasshwi Prakash said that food is a “proper love language” for her and one of her favourite ones. The Bigg Boss winner said that she wanted to express the love that she has for her fans via Celebrity MasterChef. She promised to make something special for her fans.
Earlier, chef Vikas Khanna had opened up about his experiences and career struggles. The promo starts with Farah Khan introducing Vikaas Khanna and praising his talents. The Michelin Star chef spoke up on how he was determined to put Indian food on the map. He talked about persevering with Indian food, despite all of his classmates opting to learn western cuisines. Khanna also said that he was certain that the era of “desi food” would arrive when he travelled to America.
Chef Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and Farah Khan are the judges on Celebrity MasterChef. The show will air from Monday to Friday at 8 pm.
