The 15-year-old Kerala boy, who died by suicide after enduring ragging and bullying at school, was the newphew of iD Fresh Food CEO PC Musthafa.
PC Musthafa, the Bengaluru-based CEO of iD Fresh Food, shared a post on social media to demand “Justice for Mihir”, a 15-year-old student who tragically took his life due to severe ragging and bullying at school and on the school bus.
He also shared a heartfelt note, urging people to “stop ragging and bullying”. He revealed that Mihir, the teen who died by suicide, was his nephew and shared a touching picture of Mihir with his own son.
“Mihir was my nephew. He was my son’s best friend. He is no more. He was just 15. During his kindergarten days, he lived with us in Bengaluru. He was like a son to me,” PC Musthafa wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“He was subjected to brutal ragging, bullying, and physical assault by a gang of students at his school and in the school bus,” he continued, sharing that the evidence the family uncovered paints a chilling picture of what Mihir went through.

Mihir Ahammed jumped from the 26th floor of his building after returning home from school on January 15. His mother claims he was “forced to lick toilet seats” and had his “head shoved into the toilet while it was flushed”.
An FIR has been filed at the Hill Palace Police Station in Thripunithura, and the mother has submitted a petition to the Child Commission, requesting an investigation into the harassment Ahammed suffered, including alleged mistreatment by the Vice Principal of his previous school, GEMS Kochi. He was a student at Global Public School in Thiruvaniyoor, Ernakulam.
