Archana Puran Singh shares a hilarious moment with husband Parmeet Sethi, who jokingly claims he broke her wrist.

Archana Puran Singh, a veteran of the entertainment industry, has been a household name for decades. While she has starred in numerous films and television shows, the younger generation primarily recognizes her from her appearances on various comedy reality shows. Now, in an effort to expand her brand and connect more personally with fans, Archana has launched her own YouTube channel, offering glimpses into her life with husband Parmeet Sethi and their sons, Aaryamann and Aayushman. In one of her recent vlogs, she opened up about an on-set accident where she broke her wrist, a moment so distressing that it left her son in tears.

In a more recent vlog, Parmeet jokingly admitted, “Maine toda iska haath” (I broke her hand), prompting an outburst of laughter from their family and guest comedian Rajiv Thakur. Rajiv, who was part of their episode, reacted in shock upon seeing Archana’s injury, exclaiming, “Yeh kya hua?” (What happened?) Archana, amused that he wasn’t already aware, quipped, “This means you’re not even keeping up with my life updates on social media!”—a nod to her increasingly active presence online.

During the vlog, Rajiv also took a nostalgic turn, reminiscing about his early days in comedy. He recalled how he auditioned for The Great Indian Laughter Challenge after making a name for himself as a local Punjabi comedian in Amritsar. At this point, Archana posed a question many aspiring entertainers have faced: “Why did you choose comedy when 99.9% of people come here to be a hero or heroine?” Before Rajiv could answer, Parmeet cheekily interrupted, “Tu bhi toh aayi thi hero banne ke liye” (Even you came here to become a hero). The remark had everyone in splits, as jokes about Archana’s bold and lively persona have been a staple of The Kapil Sharma Show for years. Taking it in stride, Archana shot back, “Itni sachai mat bataya karo sabke saamne” (Don’t reveal so much truth in front of everyone).

Since launching her YouTube channel in December, Archana has been actively sharing content, amassing an impressive 471K subscribers as of February 7. Her channel features family vlogs filled with candid life updates, as well as guest episodes, where they invite celebrities over for casual, fun-filled meals. With her infectious energy and unfiltered storytelling, Archana’s digital presence is proving to be just as entertaining as her television appearances.
