NXT: Oba Femi against A-Town Down Under (WWE)
The latest WWE NXT episode aired live on Wednesday, February 5, in India. The show was hosted live at the company’s Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida. Lexis King kicked off the weekly wrestling event with a major announcement for the NXT Heritage Cup. Fans also witnessed NXT Women’s Champion Giulia, Roxanne Perez and Bayley meet inside the ring ahead of their Vengeance Day title clash. Jacy Jayne faced Stephanie Vaquer in one-on-one women’s action. In contrast, Channing Tatum locked horns with Ridge Holland in men’s competition. In the main event, NXT Champion Oba Femi teamed up with Trick Williams to take on A-Town Down Under in a tag-team affair.
Lexis King addresses fans
Lexis King questioned how he could be humble when he’s already the greatest star in the history of professional wrestling. He then claimed the NXT Heritage Cup had been mistreated for a long time and the days of British Bound Rules were now over. He announced that the matches would now be one fall, Winner Takes All. Fandango interrupted King’s promo and reintroduced himself as JDC. He claimed the brand’s general manager Ava had already decided on a Heritage Cup bout between them.
Giulia, Bayley and Roxanne Perez meet ahead of Vengeance Day’s NXT Women’s Championship match
Before Giulia could make her way out, Roxanne Perez cut off the ring announcer to brag about her record-breaking run in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. She accused Bayley of coming to NXT only because she wanted all of the titles. Next, Giulia stormed inside the ring and told Perez she was nothing without a title. Charlotte Flair’s music hit as she made her way out. The women’s Royal Rumble winner then claimed she would have no problems defeating the stars inside the ring. Out of nowhere, Cora Jade appeared and clocked Giulia and Bayley from behind with a kendo stick. Perez rolled out of the ring to escape while Jade raised the women’s title.
Trick Williams gets beaten down after the main event
The main event of NXT’s latest episode saw A-Town Down Under pin Trick Williams to win the men’s tag-team match. After the fight, Eddy Thorpe brandished the leather strap and stared Oba Femi down. The champion, however, took his leave which led to Thorpe attacking Williams. He hammered him with punches and stood tall as the show went off the air.

Jacy Jayne vs Stephanie Vaquer – Stephanie Vaquer sealed a pinfall victory over Jacy Jayne with the SBB.
Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo vs Ridge Holland – Ridge Holland beat Channing Stacks by pinfall with the Redeemer.
Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley vs Sol Ruca and Zaria – Sol Ruca and Zaria won by pinfall using a Sol Smasher on Gigi Dolin.
Karmen Petrovic vs Kelani Jordan – Karmen Petrovic secured a win via disqualification.
A-Town Down Under vs Oba Femi and Trick Williams – A-Town Down Under pinned Trick Williams to win the match.
