As the hosts and defending champions, Pakistan will commence their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign with the tournament opener against New Zealand at the revamped National Bank Stadium in Karachi on February 19.
Following this, the team will head to Dubai for a highly anticipated clash against arch-rivals India on February 23. Their final group-stage match is set to take place against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on February 27.
The tournament, featuring eight teams and a total of 15 matches, will run from February 19 to March 9 across multiple venues, including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi in Pakistan, and Dubai. The teams are divided into two groups: Group A consists of Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B includes Afghanistan, South Africa, England, and Australia.
Pakistan is set to host 10 matches on home soil, while four games—including all three of India’s group-stage fixtures and the first semi-final—will be played in Dubai. The final is scheduled to take place in Lahore; however, if India qualifies, it will be relocated to Dubai. To account for potential weather disruptions, a reserve day has been allocated for the final match.
The Champions Trophy will be held from February 19 to March 9, featuring 15 matches across three venues in Pakistan—Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi—and one in Dubai.
