Jaemin seemingly reshared a post on Bubble that contained derogatory remarks against NCT fans.

Jaemin, a member of the popular K-pop boy band NCT often makes headlines for controversial reasons, especially his social media activities. Once again, Jaemin is facing criticism for his recent post about fans. The post mentioned NCTzens (fandom) displayed their dual personalities at a concert, further explaining how the fans who were quite furious initially later calmed down after Jaemin started speaking, something that the artist found funny.
“Ah seriously, Czennies are so scary. When they said they couldn’t leave yet, they had a terrifying look. But when Jaemin said, ‘Aigoo!,’ they looked at the screen with heart eyes like Ashura Baekjak. Funny,” the post read, as shared on Bubble.

Re-sharing the post on the platform, Jaemin wrote, “Yep, our baby princesses are a bit tough. For real I laughed at this for a whole 20 seconds. This is the hardest I’ve laughed in 2025. I almost fainted from crying (laughing).” Although Jaemin censored the curse word, his remarks sparked a controversy.
Many followers found it completely unnecessary and inappropriate to share an anti-fan post by simply censoring the derogatory name used against the fandom. As per Koreaboo, many lashed out at the artist for his reaction. One wrote, “I don’t even know what’s funny about it, and I don’t get why it was such an amazing meme that he had to share it with fans, even going as far as censoring the slurs and insults. It’s a total disaster.”
“He keeps stirring up small controversies but stays completely silent—it’s insane,” another commented. A user criticised Jaemin’s censoring of the derogatory fandom and added, “The fact that he knew the fandom’s pet name was being used as an insult and still censored it. The fact that the content itself wasn’t even funny, just lame.”
On the other hand, a section of fans also came out in Jaemin’s support noting that he was being targeted unnecessarily. A fan wrote, “All those hate tweets just for it to be revealed that Jaemin didn’t even see the original tweet but a reposted one.” In the meantime, the K-pop artist is yet to react to the ongoing discussions about his social media activities on Bubble.
