Travis Scott was mistakenly stopped by security
In a rather unexpected turn of events during the Lakers-Clippers game recently, rapper Travis Scott found himself on the receiving end of some unwanted attention from security. The SICKO MODE artist, who was attending the highly anticipated cross-town rivalry, was mistaken for a trespasser and briefly detained by the security staff at the Intuit Dome. Footage of the incident quickly made its rounds on social media, with multiple videos going viral across platforms.
Travis, who was courtside at the game with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin and his daughter Kylie Rubin, was trying to make his way out of the arena when the security mix-up took place. Security, clearly on high alert, quickly moved in when they failed to recognise the celebrity. It wasn’t until the situation escalated that it became clear Scott was not, in fact, an intruder, but rather the star everyone was hoping to see.
Clad in a brown coat, chain, and green shirt, Travis Scott was crossing the court when a security guard, apparently unaware of who he was, abruptly grabbed the back of his coat in a misguided attempt to stop him. In the viral videos that quickly circulated, Travis Scott is seen briefly struggling, before additional security and venue staff intervened to clear up the misunderstanding. Despite the brief chaos, the rapper remained calm and unfazed, even sharing a friendly handshake with someone near the tunnel before exiting the arena.

As of now, neither the Clippers nor Intuit Dome officials have issued a statement regarding the incident. Travis Scott has also chosen to remain silent on the matter, offering no public comment on the unexpected security mix-up.
