Actor Veer Pahariya has addressed the shocking incident involving comedian Pranit More, who was allegedly assaulted by a group following a joke about the actor during a recent comedy show. Veer has condemned the attack and clarified that he had no involvement in the matter.

“I am truly shocked and saddened by what happened to Comedian Pranit More,” Veer stated publicly. “I want to make it absolutely clear—I had no involvement in this, and I strongly condemn any form of violence. As someone who has always taken trolling in stride, laughed along with it, and shown love even to my critics, I would never encourage or support harm towards anyone, let alone someone from the same creative fraternity.”

The incident has sparked widespread conversations across social media. Reports suggest that a few individuals, allegedly self-proclaimed supporters of Veer, resorted to physical violence against Pranit More.

“To Pranit and his fans—I am deeply sorry that this happened. No one deserves this. I will personally ensure that whoever was responsible is held accountable,” he added.

Fans and fellow artists have rallied in support of Veer as the actor has often engaged with his memes and critics sportingly. Insiders close to Veer revealed that he is actively investigating the incident and is determined to take appropriate steps to prevent such occurrences in the future.

Veer made his acting debut with Sky Force. The film also starred Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur. The high-octane action thriller had recently crossed the Rs 100 crore-mark, the first Bollywood film to do so in 2025.

According to Sacnilk, the film has grossed Rs 1.35 crore on its second Monday taking the total box office collection to Rs 107.65 crore. While the drop may have been noticeable, it’s all part of the typical weekday dip after a power-packed weekend. The movie is still holding steady in theatres despite facing competition from the massy action saga, Deva, which released on Friday, January 31.
