It was a magical scene at Jaipur’s iconic Raj Mandir Cinema as Vicky Kaushal graced the venue for the promotion of his much-awaited film, Chhaava. The theatre lit up with fans swaying to the soulful melody of Jaane Tu from the movie, creating an electrifying atmosphere filled with emotion. Standing among his audience, an emotional Vicky witnessed the surreal moment.
Sharing snippets from the heartwarming event, Vicky expressed his gratitude on Instagram, writing, “Jaipur ka #CHHAAVA!!! Humesha ki tarah, you guys turned up with some insane energy aur bohot saara pyaar! Thank you. See you all in cinemas on 14th Feb. Har Har Mahadev!!!”
The highly anticipated historical drama Chhaava, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, is slated to release on February 14, 2025. Ahead of the grand theatrical debut, Vicky recently shared an intense video clip from the film that has taken social media by storm.
The gripping footage features Vicky performing fierce action sequences and taking down enemies with unmatched intensity. Sharing the video, he captioned it, “Chhaava ki dahaad, shatru pe garajegi, woh talvar banke barsega, Woh Sher Shiva ka ansh hai, aandhi ki tarah aaya hai! 10 days until you experience the biggest spectacle in Hindi Cinema! #Chhaava releasing in cinemas on 14th February.”

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava marks another collaboration between Utekar and Vicky Kaushal following the success of their 2023 comedy-romance hit, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Known for helming acclaimed films like Mimi and Luka Chuppi, Utekar ventures into historical drama territory with this epic.
The film centers around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the valiant son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal essays the titular role, bringing to life the story of the Maratha empire’s fearless leader.
