Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah have made a lively return to television with Laughter Chefs 2, blending comedy and cooking in their signature entertaining style. The duo is back with their humorous banter, delivering rib-tickling moments on the show.
Recently, several contestants were spotted outside the shoot venue, where Krushna reminisced about his first TV appearance alongside Kashmera. Speaking to the paparazzi, he joked, “Aisi jodi aapko kahin nahi milegi. 18 saal se madam mere ko…” (You won’t find a pair like us anywhere. For the last 18 years, madam has been…). Before he could finish, Kashmera playfully interrupted, completing his sentence with, “Jhel rahi hai”(tolerating him). Krushna quickly quipped back, “Jhel toh main bhi raha hu (I’m also tolerating).”
Moving on, Krushna recalled how Kashmera forced him to step into television decades back which eventually gave him a lot of popularity. Krushna stated, “Yeh mere ko Nach baliye mein laayi thi. Woh mera pehla show tha 2007 mein. Inhone kaha ki Nach Baliye ek show hai, tum TV pe aaoge. Hum saath mein karenge. Aur aaj dekho 2025 hogaya. Aur aaj bhi show hit hai. Aur kya chahiye (She brought me to Nach Baliye. That was my first show on TV in 2007. She said there is a show called Nach Baliye, you will come on TV. We will do it together. And see, now it is 2025. And even today, the show is a hit. What else does one want?).” Kashmera quipped, “Tab TV ke liye show karta tha, aaj yeh show biwi ke liye kar raha hai (Then he used to do shows for TV, today he is doing this show for his wife).
Laughter Chefs 2 premiered on January 25, bringing back some familiar faces from Season 1, including Rahul Vaidya, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Sudesh Lehri, Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah. The new season also introduces fresh contestants like Mannara Chopra, Abdu Rozik, Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Kumar, Rubina Dilaik and Samarth Jurel. Hosted by Bharti Singh, with expert guidance from chef Harpal Singh, the culinary comedy show promises another round of fun-filled kitchen challenges.
