ATEEZ is currently travelling across Europe for their Towards The Light: Will To Power tour. After thrilling fans in cities like Lyon-Decines, Milan, Zurich, London and Manchester, the group’s last stop was in Amsterdam. During their performance in the Netherlands’ capital city, the group decided to make the event even more special by handing the mic to a fan and asking them to pick which member should introduce the next song. However, when Mingi handed the mic to one fan, another woman snatched it away. Many expected her to choose Mingi, but she surprisingly picked Wooyoung instead. The incident quickly went viral and ATEEZ fans are disappointment with the girl’s disrespectful action.

Before the girl who was initially given the mic could speak, another woman quickly grabbed it. She began by saying, “You guys are all handsome and talented.” As the girl who was supposed to speak first, was heard shouting “Mingi.” However, another girl pushed her away and added, “No, no. We all love you guys, but it’s Wooyoung. I feel its Wooyoung.” This unexpected moment left internet upset and people criticised her behaviour for interrupting and making the moment uncomfortable.

Following the incident, a fan shared a previous video of ATEEZ, alleging that the same girl had previously touched a group member without permission. In the clip, while one of the members was meeting fans and signing autographs, she ignored the barricade and touched the artist in public. During the time, neither the artist nor the security team said anything to the girl about her actions, but social media users were not pleased. Many criticized her for disrespecting boundaries and ignoring proper fan etiquette.

After entertaining their fans during Amsterdam concert on February 3, ATEEZ will continue their Towards The Light: Will To Power tour in Barcelona. They will then perform in Cologne, Copenhagen, Berlin and Paris before wrapping up the tour in Brussels.

Before the group began their tour, leader Hongjoong made headlines by releasing a song titled SMB, which many believe is a diss track for HYBE and its founder, Bang Si-Hyuk.

Debuted in 2018, ATEEZ includes Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho.
