BSEB has reinstated the dress code for the 2025 Bihar 12th Board Exam, prohibiting shoes and socks.

BSEB 12th Board Exam 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has restored the dress code for the students appearing for the Bihar 12th Board Exam 2025. Students are now not allowed to wear shoes and socks in the examination hall. Earlier, the board allowed the students to wear shoes and socks in the examination hall due to severe cold weather. However, after review, the board restored the dress code for the BSEB Bihar Board Examinations.
“It is hereby notified that, in light of the improved weather conditions, wearing shoes and socks will be strictly prohibited for candidates appearing in the Intermediate Annual Examination 2025 scheduled from 06.02.2025 to 15.02.2025. Any candidate found wearing shoes or socks will not be permitted to enter the examination hall,” reads the official notification.
Bihar Board Inter Exam 2025 Reporting Time
According to the official schedule, the Bihar Board Class 12th exam will be held from February 1 to February 15, 2025. The exams will be conducted in two shifts – from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
The BSEB has recently released guidelines for students appearing for the BSEB Bihar Board Inter Exam 2025, urging them to arrive at the exam centre according to the reporting time specified on their admit cards. According to the BSEB instructions, for the first shift, entry will begin at 8:30 am, with the main gate closing at 9 am. For the second shift, entry will start at 1 pm, and the gate will close at 1:30 pm.
The BSEB has already issued the admit cards for the Intermediate final exams. The board has instructed school principals and heads to download the Bihar Board Class 12th admit cards for students scheduled to appear in the exams via the official website – seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com.
