Television actress Dipika Kakar is currently seen in the competitive cooking show ‘Celebrity MasterChef’, hosted by Farah Khan. The actress recently featured in her husband Shoaib Ibrahim’s latest vlog, in which she was seen wearing an arm sling. She injured her left arm, and Shoaib explained that a past injury was triggered due to ‘excessive physical activity.’ He also attributed it to ‘nazar’ mentioning that the actress has been doing really well on the cooking show.
In his vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim said that when Dipika’s left arm hurt initially, they got it checked, and the doctor assured that it was nothing serious. However, her arm hurt again, and she experienced severe pain. “Ye rote huye aayi thi ghar. Breathing mein bhi issue hua tha. (She came home crying. She also had trouble breathing),” shared Shoaib. Dipika then explained that the pain intensified when she inhaled, and that her condition was really bad that day. They got a CT scan and an MRI done, post which the doctor informed them that the actress must have had an old injury, possibly due to age or physical activity. Her current physical exertion triggered the past injury. While she has been advised to keep her arm rested, she can remove the sling while cooking on MasterChef.
Shoaib Ibrahim then said, “Kabhi kabhi mujhe lagta hai nazar bhi ho sakti hai. Last week, dekha hai aap sabne MasterChef. Achha jaa raha hai. Aur sabhi contestants bohot ache hai. (Sometimes, I feel like it might be ‘nazar’. You all watched MasterChef last week. It’s going well. All contestants are great). She earned an immunity pin last week by recreating Vikas Khanna’s ‘Brahmand’.”
Apart from Dipika Kakar, ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ also features other celebrity contestants such as Nikki Tamboli, Tejasswi Prakash, Abhijeet Sawant, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Faisal Shaikh, Rajiv Adatia, among others.
