The 2025 Grammy awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, is being held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday night, bringing together some of the biggest names in music, all aiming to add a gramophone trophy to their collection.

Beyoncé leads this year’s nominations with 11, followed by Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone with seven each. Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift secured six nominations apiece, while Jack Antonoff and Shaboozey earned five. This year’s lineup of performers included Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, Doechii, RAYE, Shakira, and Teddy Swims.

Additionally, a special tribute to Los Angeles, in light of the ongoing fires, will feature Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, Jacob Collier, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, and St. Vincent.

Sabrina Carpenter took home her first Grammy, winning Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n’ Sweet at the 2025 awards. She triumphed over strong contenders, including Ariana Grande (Eternal Sunshine), Billie Eilish (Hit Me Hard and Soft), Chappell Roan (The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess), and Taylor Swift (The Tortured Poets Department).

“Hello. I’m still out of breath from the performance so I really was not expecting this. All those nominees on the screen are some of my favorite artists in the world. This is my first Grammy, so, woo, I’m gonna cry. I wrote names so I wouldn’t forget on this napkin. Thank you to the Recording Academy for having me and having everyone here tonight in celebration and honor of everything that’s happened. I feel honoured to come together and do something special to celebrate music. I want to thank all my fans… my mom for driving me to every voice lesson.”

Earlier in the night, Carpenter performed Espresso and Please Please Please at the ceremony. She also won Best Pop Solo Performance for Espresso before securing her second award.
