Prabhas’ The Raja Saab is one of the most awaited movies of 2025. However, reports suggest that the film may not be released as scheduled. According to Times Now, the makers are considering pushing the release to Dussehra instead of April 10. The delay is reportedly due to Prabhas’ recent injury. The actor sustained an ankle sprain while filming Fauji, which affected his schedule for other projects, including The Raja Saab. As a result, the team had to pause the shoot temporarily. While they are working hard to complete the film on time, pending shoot schedules and extensive VFX work are causing delays.

However, Prabhas is expected to resume work on Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 in the summer. The final release date for The Raja Saab will depend on his recovery and the film’s post-production progress.
Earlier, a source close to the project had hinted at the delay. The makers had not announced a new release date and promotions were expected to begin closer to the launch. However, there is no official confirmation yet regarding the postponement.
The Raja Saab has been making headlines since its announcement. Reports suggest that Prabhas will be seen in dual roles. The film stars Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal as the female leads. The horror-comedy is directed by Maruthi and is expected to offer a mix of action, comedy and thrill.
Currently, Prabhas is busy with multiple projects. He is filming Fauji, a period drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The movie will showcase him as a British Indian soldier. He is also set to collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Spirit, an action-packed cop drama.
Apart from these, Prabhas has several major films lined up. Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 and Salaar: Part 2 are among his biggest upcoming projects. Additionally, he is expected to collaborate on two more films with the Salaar team, with announcements made by the makers recently.
