Kanye West has made headlines again. After his dramatic Grammys red carpet appearance and hints at a Super Bowl event, he is now calling on Donald Trump to help free Sean ‘Diddy Combs. Diddy is currently in jail on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. On February 7, Kanye took to X to blast Hollywood celebrities for staying silent about Diddy’s arrest. He accused them of watching Combs ‘rot’ behind bars instead of speaking up.

He then reached out to Donald Trump directly, writing, “Donald Trump, PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.”

Ye also shared a video of a FaceTime call with Diddy’s son, Christian Combs. In the post, he reflected on fathers and sons, mentioning comedian Dave Chappelle. Netizens also noticed something interesting—aside from his wife, Bianca Censori, the only person Kanye follows on Instagram is Diddy.

West’s frustration didn’t stop with Diddy’s case. He referenced past controversies surrounding singer Chris Brown. Kanye admitted he didn’t support Brown when the industry tried to ‘cancel’ him.

“I WAS A COWARD THEN TOO,” he tweeted. “ITS TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF.”

Attack on Corporate America

Kanye’s uncensored rant continued. He reignited his feud with liquor company Diageo. He lashed out at corporate executives, accusing them of controlling the music industry. He specifically targeted Jewish and white business leaders.

In one of his most shocking tweets, Ye dared his critics to try and stop him.

“WHAT YALL GONE DO? CANCEL MY SNEAKER DEAL? CANCEL MY RECORD DEAL? FREEZE MY ACCOUNTS?

Revisiting His Controversial Past

Kanye then brought back one of his most infamous remarks. He repeated his controversial ‘slavery is a choice’ statement from 2018.

“When you hear about slavery for 400 years — for 400 years? That sounds like a choice,” he said back then. He suggested that people were “mentally imprisoned” and that both Black and white people belong to “one race—the human race.”

Kanye’s latest comments have once again sparked debate. While some support his outspokenness, others are criticising his remarks. It remains unclear if Trump will respond to his message, or if Diddy’s case will take a new turn.
