Budget Session of Parliament Day 5 Live Updates: The Parliament Budget Session entered its fifth day on Thursday. The first part of the Budget Session is being held from January 31 to February 13 while the second part will be held between March 10 and April 4.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Rajya Sabha at 4 pm today during the debate on Motion of Thanks to the President’s address. He had delivered his speech in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

Congress has given notice to move an adjournment motion, seeking a discussion on the manner in which the Indian nationals were deported from the US in its military aircraft.

The Opposition has questioned the government over the Maha Kumbh stampede that killed several people and accused the Uttar Pradesh government of hiding the death toll.

The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha did not assemble on Wednesday as Delhi Assembly polls were scheduled for February 5. The proceedings will resume today.
