Kaun Banega Crorepati got a dose of comedy in its influencer special episode, featuring stand-up comedians Tanmay Bhat and Samay Raina. The duo had Amitabh Bachchan in splits with their jokes and even gave him a crash course in internet memes! From hilarious viral clips to a special one featuring Jaya Bachchan, Big B got a taste of his own meme-worthy moments, making for a fun-filled episode.
During the episode, Tanmay said, “Sir, there is a surprise for you, Jaya ji has accompanied me.” Amitabh Bachchan looked visibly surprised, prompting Tanmay to clarify, “My mother, her name is also Jaya.” He then humorously added, “Sir, my mom is a great fan of yours, so much that she had me have four drops of Polio drop instead of two.”
Samay and Tanmay then asked Amitabh Bachchan if he was familiar with memes, to which the veteran actor said, “I have no clue, it reminded me of a neem tree.” Tanmay went on to say, “Whenever we are going through these memes, we come across several KBC clips, which are quite viral. It will be an honour to watch some of these clips with you.” Among the many memes featuring Amitabh Bachchan—ranging from his quiz show moments to scenes from his old films—one particular meme also included his wife, Jaya Bachchan.

During the exchange, Jaya says, “I have heard whenever you are impressed with someone’s work, you either send them flowers or a letter. In my case, he has never sent anything to me. Have you?” Amitabh, seated beside her, remains silent while chewing something, maintaining a neutral expression. After a brief awkward pause, Abhishek remarks, “He is chewing something,” prompting Jaya to quip, “He is also chewing his answer.” This witty remark makes Amitabh burst into laughter. The meme is captioned, “Sometimes it’s better to not answer.”
Samay then explained, “Ismein hota yeh hai ki aapki woh bolti band kara deti hai.” Big B laughed and said, “Why did you have to show this in front of everybody?”
Samay added, “Basically, bade miyan ko bhi ghar pe chote miyan banna hi padta hai.” Amitabh agreed, saying, “Bilkul sir, chote se bhi chote.”
