UGC NET December 2024 Result: The UGC NET 2025 exam scorecards will be available for download on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, once announced.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC NET December 2024 results by February. The exams were held between January 3 to 27, 2025. The provisional answer key was released on February 1 and candidates were allowed to raise objections till February 3.
Based on the previous year’s data, the gap between the exam dates and the UGC NET result announcement has varied between 31 to 42 days. The June 2024 exam concluded on September 5, 2024, and the UGC NET results were declared on October 17, 2024, marking a 42-day interval. Similarly, the December 2023 exam ended on December 19, 2023, with UGC NET results announced on January 19, 2024, a 31-day gap.
The UGC NET 2025 exam scorecards will be available for download on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, once announced. Upon the release of the results, those who took the exam must download the results using their application number, birth date, and security pin.
Candidates can qualify for the exam if they receive more than 40 per cent of the possible points in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the UGC NET exam. However, candidates must achieve the UGC NET cut-off marks to be eligible for the UGC NET 2025, which will be along with the results.
UGC NET Result 2024: How to Check?
Step 1: Go to ugcnet.nta.nic.in, the official website for UGC NET.
Step 2: Find and click on the candidate login section on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required credentials.
Step 4: The result will be displayed on your screen.
Step 5: Click the download icon and choose “Save As” to store the PDF for later use. Take a print out for future reference.
UGC NET Result December 2024: Percentile Calculation
The percentile scores for the UGC NET exam is be determined by applying a particular methodology. To calculate the percentile, divide the total number of candidates in the session by the number of candidates with a raw score that is equal to or lower than 100. To reduce the possibility of ties among applicants and guarantee fairness in the ranking process, these percentile ratings will be calculated to seven decimal places.
