Bhumi Pednekar has finally kicked off the promotion of her film Mere Husband Ki Biwi. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, it also features Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and comedian Harsh Gujral. Mere Husband Ki Biwi will be released on February 21. Now, for one of the promotional events, Bhumi made head turns in a gorgeous Indo-Western look.
In a video, Bhumi is seen walking under the bright sun along with her team. She looks beautiful in a green brocade lehenga that she paired with a matching blouse and heavy jewellery. Bhumi tied her hair in a bun.
Meanwhile, the makers of Mere Husband Ki Biwi released the official trailer last week.
The film is a love triangle between — Ankur (played by Arjun Kapoor), Prablin Dhillon (Bhumi Pednekar) and Antara (played by Rakul Preet Singh).
Backed by Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh under Pooja Entertainment’s banner, Mere Husband Ki Biwi also stars Aditya Seal, Shakti Kapoor, Dino Morea and Anita Raj in significant roles.
Sharing the poster, Bhumi wrote on Instagram, “KALESH Mode ON. Aaj banega ye love triangle ek pura circle!”
Apart from this, Bhumi will also be seen in the upcoming web series The Royals, which will be streaming on the OTT giant Netflix. Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, the show also features Ishaan Khatter, Nora Fatehi, Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Chunky Panday, Milind Soman and Dino Morea.
Set in Rajasthan, the romantic comedy follows a polo-playing prince (played by Ishaan) and a CEO (played by Bhumi) as their worlds collide, blending royalty and capitalism.
