While Rehman’s house was being demolished, a man was seen waving a Palestinian flag at the site while protesters were sloganeering against Awami League.
The attackers forcibly entered the premises after breaking open the gate and began a destructive rampage. The demonstrators were seen destroying the structure by climbing up. They also set ablaze the top floor of the building.
This is the second time when the house of Rehman has been attacked by a mob in Bangladesh. Earlier the house was attacked after ex-PM Sheikh Hasina resigned from her post and fleed the country.
